Message N (# of moles)= Constant
r= Constant
T (Temp)= Gets smaller the further along you go
P (Pres)= Gets smaller as T gets smaller (until V gets smaller)
V (Vol)= Constant until the neck down (which will occur AFTER T has
dropped substantially)

So pressure will rise when it necks down to 2.5", but by that time T will
have dropped the right side of the equation substantially, and it not rise
nearly as much as it would further upstream.

This is somewhat oversimplified, but it gets the basic idea across.
